Beyond the Bell is a district initiative which provides online curriculum content supporting student learning and enrichment beyond the school day. This program targets students in grades three through eleven and provides enrichment activities in reading, mathematics and science.

Individualized student learning paths have been designed based on FCAT scores and are aligned to the district’s pacing guides. Each nine weeks learning paths will be updated to reflect the current curriculum focus.

These online activities are supplemental and, as such, are not to be assigned or graded. All online activities are provided as a resource to both parents and students to engage learning using technology.

Access to Beyond the Bell is via the MDCPS Student Portal at http://myportal.dadeschools.net/student/. Once students are logged into the portal, grade specific links will be available by program title.

Recognizing that all students may not have access to computers with Internet connectivity, students and parents are encourage to visit public libraries and/or community centers, which may provide Internet access free of charge.

Below are the links to access a parent letter and a contract for parents of students in grades 3 through 11. There are three versions of the letter and the contract (English, Spanish, Haitian Creole). Please, fill out the contract and send it to the school.
